"Over forty years ago, our mission to serve children began. From a small residential program that served six boys in Yucaipa, California, our programs now serve over 1,300 boys and girls in four states and thirty-two locations. And from those six boys the first year, Trinity has now helped in excess of 50,000 children since 1966.
Daily at Trinity Children's Foundation of America, we are reminded of the hurt and despair so many children still face in our country. These children are victims of the cycle of abuse and neglect so rampant in the homes from which they come. We give these children the opportunity to heal through therapeutic treatment and the permanency and love of a stable family. With guidance and support from a caring adult, children and youth in foster care are resilient and capable of realizing their fullest human potential. Holiday Hero Gift Drive 08
The transition from an abusive situation into a foster or residential home is always difficult for children, but even more so during the holidays. By partnering with organizations, businesses and individuals, we can provide at least one gift wish for every child we serve. Last year more than 3,000 gifts of love, including toys, clothing, gift cards and educational items, were distributed to approximately 1,000 children in Trinity’s care. This year, we are serving more than 1,000 abused, neglected and abandoned children and teens. With your commitment, we can grant their wishes for this holiday season. You can help by:
